Data deletion

You may request deletion of personal data associated with Hyper Zap, including data received through an enquiry or a supported platform integration.

What to include

1. Your name and the email address or phone number associated with the data.
2. The business, Facebook Page or WhatsApp Business account involved, if applicable.
3. A short description of the data you want deleted.

What happens next

We will acknowledge the request and may ask for information needed to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. After verification, we will delete or de-identify the data within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by law, needed for security or disputes, or controlled by a business customer that must action the request.

Business-managed conversations

If you contacted another business through WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger and Hyper Zap processed the conversation for that business, the business may control the data. We may refer your request to that business or help it complete the request.

Platform data

Deleting information held by Hyper Zap does not automatically delete information held independently by Meta, WhatsApp, Facebook or another platform. Use the relevant platform’s privacy controls for data stored in your platform account.
